Description:
The Missouri State Fair Educational Display theme is determined by the Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri and then assigned to the Southwest District (SWD).
The SWD in turn assigns a member club to coordinate and create the display. The Shepherd of the Hills Garden Club has been selected for this honor in 2024 with the designated theme of “Lavender”.
The educational display will be present at the Spring SWD meeting and again at the 2024 Missouri State Fair scheduled for August 8-18 in Sedalia, MO.
Committee Duties:
- Maintain on-going communication with the SWD.
- Coordinate purchasing of materials needed.
- Create the display and then coordinate delivery to the SWD Spring meeting.
