About Us

Celebrating over 70 Years of friendship, love of gardening and giving back to our communities

Federated on March 23, 1954, the Shepherd of the Hills Garden Club celebrated 70 years of community service in 2024. Pictured above are the strong women who founded our Club.

This dedicated group of garden enthusiasts gathers on the first Thursday of every month, except July and August. We share an abundance of information and learn from each other’s experiences. We enjoy the warm camaraderie of like-minded individuals who share a passion for gardening.

Each meeting features a special guest speaker who offers a chance to explore new gardening techniques. Members discuss the latest horticultural trends, learn tips and tricks from each other.

Members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise. They cultivate their knowledge and forge lasting friendships. Everyone in this group is supportive and thrives on collaboration and inspiration in the wonderful world of gardening.

The Shepherd of the Hills Garden Club strives to share our love of gardening through conservation, education and beautification projects. We are dedicated to enhancing our communities and preserving the beauty of the Ozarks. Our goal is to ensure the continuity of our organization through active membership recruitment and engagement with members of the general public.

To encourage care of the environment, beautify our community and promote our love of gardening with others

Add New Members, share our gardening knowledge, give back to our community and enjoy our lives in the Ozarks
